ABOUT REP:

REP stands for the Relationship Education Project, formerly known as the Megan Project. REP is Safe Harbor’s prevention and education program. Our curriculum is designed to bring awareness to students about healthy relationships and dating violence.

Our program is featured in high schools and middle schools throughout Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Our Prevention Coordinators engage students in conversations on topics like relationship abuse, violence, risk factors for violence, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, healthy communication skills, boundaries, and self respect and empowerment. We strive to create a safe space for all students to share their beliefs, experiences, and ideas around these topics. Check out our #groundrules that we use in the classroom with students. It’s a great approach to adopt for your own conversations with your child, as well.

REP GOALS:

  • Engage, educate, and empower students to make healthy choices in all relationships and bring knowledge to their community.
  • Help eradicate violence and build a future generation of advocates.
  • Influence a culture where all people feel safe and valued.

REP FOR PARENTS:

Interested in having us come to your parent group? We would love to! Especially if your child’s school is receiving REP curriculum, we would love to come out and explain our curriculum and do some work with your parent group alongside. Fill out the contact us form on the side and we will get with you shortly about scheduling something!
